Adapter Spring Replacement Set

The spring system is designed to hold the angle of the shoulder rest. Despite careful use, the spring may be damaged depending on your playing style and/or play load. You will need a matching screwdriver (Torx TX4 or Phillips 00) and superglue to replace the springs. The Replacement Set includes 2 springs and a new screw.
- Hex Screw / Torx TX4: Purchased between 2019-Q3 2022: Pioneer Edition, Carbon Edition, Signature Edition, Limited AIR Edition
- Phillips Screw / Phillips 00: Purchased in Q3 2022 or later: Carbon+ Edition, Limited AIR Edition

Important: We do not recommend using the shoulder rest if you cannot ensure that the two feet do not touch the back of your instrument. Although the spring holds the shoulder rest in place, a damaged spring might not be strong enough. Only use the shoulder rest if you are certain that the base cork is thick enough to prevent the rest from touching your instrument, even if it "flips over" and the feet end up beneath the spring. You may also use a rubber band to secure the shoulder rest in place.
