Customized & Special Chinrests

We offer a collection of unique chinrests, e.g. ultra lightweight (below 22g) or chinrests with a special polish. In case you are interested in purchasing one of these unique chinrests, please write an email to sales@dolfinos.com.

Please note that the ultralight chinrests are not suitable for musicians who work with high chin pressure. DOLFINOS does not give any guarantee for damage caused by excessive pressure. In the event of damage due to normal use or transport damage, the guarantee includes the replacement of the special chinrest with a standard chinrest of the same type. In this case, the additional price paid for the unique chinrest will be refunded.

 

Additionally, we are able to produce customized chinrests upon request. At the moment there are three different options:

1. a copy of one of our current standard chinrests in ABS material, ideal for musicians who suffer from severe allergies or who want to have the ebony look without destroying endangered trees. These chinrests can be washed with water and a mild soap.
2. a copy of an existing chinrest in ABS (if technically raisable) which will be manufactured through reverse engineering (3D SLA) including a hand finish.
3. a fully customized chinrest manufactured according to your individual demands in terms of shape and material.

All of those chinrests are produced individually upon demand and therefore requires a more lengthy and costly process than the standard chinrests we currently offer on our website.
